John,
Our Giving Day Campaign only runs for another 48 hours. If you haven’t contributed to the campaign yet, please do so now.
With all that’s happening this year, we need our public lands — wilderness areas, neighborhood parks, and everything in between — more than ever before. And owing to rapacious development, climate change, and state and local budgets that are stretched to the breaking point, our public lands need us more than ever before as well.
Our members and supporters have had a number of successes recently, such as getting the Land and Water Conservation Fund permanently reinstated and fully funded … permanently protecting the iconic Zion Narrows Trail forever … establishing Kingfield Community Forest in Maine … permanently protecting Fisher’s Peak as Colorado’s newest state park … creating neighborhood parks and green schoolyards across the country … and so much more.
But now I need you to ask for your help and make a special, one-time contribution to this vital work. I hope we can count on you now.
Sincerely,
Kim Elliot
Director of Annual Giving
