Elections are upon us! Your vote is more important than ever. Here is why:
- As our voter turnout increases, so does our influence on the government. Our government takes our communities issues more seriously when they notice that our votes affect their campaigns.
- Furthermore, as we saw in the 2000 and the 2016 election, when elections are decided by thin margins and the popular vote is less than the electoral vote, our 1% of the nation's population can decide what presidential candidate will occupy the White House.
To ensure that American Muslims can vote, and do so safely during this pandemic, we have compiled the information needed to vote in California, Florida, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Virginia, and Washington D.C.
