Women's March

We wish we were making this up, John.

Here’s what Trump said after he was asked by a reporter yesterday whether – win or lose – he would commit to a peaceful transfer of power after the election.

"We're going to have to see what happens.” - Trump

He went on to say: “You know I’ve been complaining very strongly about the ballots...get rid of the ballots and you’ll have a very peaceful [transfer]...there won’t be a transfer." This is Trump’s plan, plain and simple.

Our entire democracy is on the line, John. We need a national uprising before the election to signal that we the people demand that our votes be counted.

Will you commit to march in Sterling on Saturday, October 17th to send an unmistakable message that women are going to fight for an America for the many, not the few?

Since we launched the October 17th march on Monday, we’ve been blown away by the response. We already have over 50,000 people pledged to march and dozens of events are live on our event map. You don’t want to miss this.

Trump knows he is losing this election, so he wants to pick and choose who can vote and how votes will be counted. He hopes that by sowing chaos and stoking fear, it will stop us from voting at all.

But we’re onto him and we’re counting on us. We are working around the clock to turn out women voters in record numbers. Together we will make sure that everyone counts, ensure everyone’s vote is counted, and swear in a government of, by, and for the people.

We will join together in the streets on October 17 in D.C. and across the county – and at the ballot boxes this election season in numbers too big to ignore. Are you with us?

Many hosts are still finalizing all the details, but RSVP now to be the first to know the plan for the day and how you can plug in to volunteer and get out the vote during the march.

Let’s rise,

Women’s March
