We have HUGE news to share!

After two months of negotiations, KKTV, the CBS affiliate in Colorado Springs, has agreed to host a Congressional debate in the Fifth District!

The debate will take place on the evening of October 5th. The debate will air on KKTV's website and its Facebook page. 

That's the good news!   Here's the bad news....

While three of the four candidates on the ballot have agreed to participate, GOP incumbent Congressman Doug Lamborn has ignored repeated invitations to participate. 

During the most crucial election in our lifetime, Congressman Lamborn continues to hide. He has not participated in a general election debate in over a decade, and he has not held a constituent town-hall in almost four years!

We can not let him cruise to reelection without answering the tough questions-

• Why did he vote fifty-plus times to strip healthcare from millions of Americans, AND vote against COVID relief measures?
   
• Will he try to defend his work to reverse decades of progress on women's reproductive healthcare, racism, and LGBTQ rights?
   
• Can he defend 3.6 billion dollars stolen from planned military construction projects -including eight million from Peterson Air Force Base- to build the wall? 

Enough is enough.  Will you join us in calling for Doug Lamborn to show up for this community?
