Hello,
We are facing our final end-of-quarter FEC fundraising deadline. Let us explain what that means and why this one in particular is so important.
The FEC (Federal Election Commission) is the government body that oversees political campaigns and groups like the Ditch Mitch Fund. And because we are not a dark money organization, we are periodically required by federal law to report our fundraising numbers to the FEC.
After after September 30th, those numbers become public – for everyone to see. And there are a lot of people who are going to be closely examining how much we have raised to take on Mitch McConnell this November.
Reporters are going to be looking at our numbers to see the size and strength of our grassroots movement. Mitch McConnell and his campaign are going to be looking at our numbers to see if he’s in as much danger as the latest polls show he is. And the national Democratic party, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC), and other progessive and Democratic organizations are going to be looking to see if there is enough grassroots support that they should start prioritizing defeating McConnell as well.
Amy McGrath is in the race of her life against McConnell, and this is also our last chance before the FEC deadline to show her that we're in this fight 100%.
That’s why we’ve set a goal unlike any we’ve ever set before: Raising $4 million online from grassroots donors this month to Ditch Mitch!
It’s an ambitious goal, but defeating Mitch McConnell is not going to be easy. Not with all the corporate and special interest money he has in his campaign war chest. We are so close to raising $4 million this month to defeat McConnell, and with your help, we can show everyone the strength of our grassroots movement, hit this HUGE goal, and Ditch Mitch for good.

We have a chance to show everyone what grassroots energy and grassroots donors are capable of. We can show the press, Mitch McConnell, Amy McGrath, and the Democratic establishment that we are fully committed to defeating McConnell once and for all in 2020.
We can do it, but it’s going to take all of us, together.
Thank you for your support,
The Ditch Mitch Fund
