Hey, did you catch this story in the Lincoln Journal Star?

Lincoln cul-de-sac named nicest place in Nebraska by Reader's Digest
[link removed]

It started with one South 32nd Place resident (and, coincidentally, a #TeamBolz supporter) named Randy. He stood on his porch and clapped for health care workers who became heroes in the face of COVID-19. The next night, a few of his neighbors joined in. Eventually, the cul-de-sac became a neighborhood hub.

Now, South 32nd Place holds a nightly, socially distant community get-together. Kids ride their bikes, neighbors chat about their days and share their worries, and the block even held an open-to-all fish fry for the 4th of July.

So Reader’s Digest honored the neighborhood as the Nicest Place in Nebraska, and one of 50 Nicest in America. Everyone’s reading about this.

Randy’s story is exactly why I’m proud to call myself a Nebraskan. We’re decent, small-town folks who open our arms to everybody and find ways to invest in our neighborhoods even during tough times.

I strive to bring these Nebraska values of kindness and community to everything I do as a State Senator, and as your candidate for the U.S. House of Representatives.

But sometimes, it feels like politics is getting more mean-spirited every day.

So I’m running for Congress to bring some Nebraska Nice all the way to Washington.

Folks, let’s make this the nicest campaign in America. With only days until the final FEC deadline before the election, I need to ask for your generosity. Will you join me on this journey? [link removed]

Thank you for everything you do. I’ll see you at the cul-de-sac!

Together,
Kate Bolz
