In February 2016, Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham said,

As the Chair of the House Judiciary Committee, I am disgusted that Lindsey Graham, my Senate Judiciary Committee counterpart, would go back on his word and give Donald Trump his third Supreme Court Justice with a lifetime appointment.
