Friend, the President of the United States uttered the words of a dictator yesterday.

Donald Trump was asked to assure the nation that we will have a peaceful transfer after November's election. And he said: "We'll want to have -- get rid of the ballots and you'll have a very -- we'll have a very peaceful -- there won't be a transfer, frankly. There'll be a continuation."

A president who vows to "get rid of" ballots is not fit to serve. His words disgrace all who have dedicated their lives to defending our democracy. We must vote him out resoundingly -- and defeat his Republican enablers -- in 40 days.
