Dear John:

First off, WOW! As of last night, 231 of us have come together to make more than 30,000 phone calls to voters in swing states. Talk about turning anxiety into action!

Last night, we teamed up with Make the Road Action to drive voter turnout in Pennsylvania. Next Wednesday, we’re calling our neighbors here in NYC to help Democrats hold the House.

Our goal: Reelect Max Rose -- and keep one of Trump’s favorite New York politicians, Nicole Malliotakis, out of Congress.

Can’t make it? Chip in 10 or any amount to support our organizing, including future volunteer events for Sara Gideon, Jaime Harrison, Jackie Gordon, and more! [[link removed]]

The race between Nicole Malliotakis and Rep. Max Rose in New York’s 11th Congressional District, which spans Staten Island and parts of Brooklyn, has become one of the closest and most contentious in the country.

In the Assembly, Malliotakis has consistently attacked immigrants’ rights, repeated right-wing lies about Black Lives Matter protestors, and fought racial justice reforms.

It’s no wonder why Malliotakis has Donald Trump’s “Complete and Total Endorsement.”

And while Max Rose has completely sworn off corporate PAC money, Malliotakis has taken more than $164,000 in contributions from corporations, corporate PACs, and LLCs.

It’s up to volunteers like us to talk directly to voters, cut through the well-funded deceptive TV ads, and ensure that Malliotakis AND Trump go down in defeat this November. Sign up for our next phone bank now → [[link removed]]

If you can’t make it or want to help another way, please chip in 10 to pay for our phone banks, text banks, materials, Zoom subscriptions, and all other costs associated with our 2020 volunteer organizing -- every dollar helps! [[link removed]]

Last night's turnout exceeded our expectations and we had to rush to upgrade our account to let everyone into the Zoom room! It's thanks to your support that we were able to do that without thinking twice.

Thank you so much for turning anxiety into action. As Brad said on our call Wednesday, quoting Rebecca Solnit, “Hope isn’t a lottery ticket that you sit on the sofa and clutch, it's an ax that you break down doors with in an emergency.”
