If I could pick one word to describe how I'm feeling in the last weeks of this election, it's this: Uncertainty.

Uncertain, because not only is the presidency at stake along with Congress, but now, with an open Supreme Court seat, the unbelievably high stakes just got higher. And then yesterday, Trump refused to pledge a peaceful transfer of power. It's deeply unsettling.

But we can only control what we can control.

What has stayed constant, from day one of this race, is my steadfast determination to be the voice CA-25 needs in Congress. And Mike Garcia has made it clear what kind of congressman he is -- we cannot afford to give him a full term to simply rubber stamp Trump's reckless agenda.

We're down to the final six days before our most important FEC deadline yet, our last end-of-quarter before Election Day -- and we're going to be making important spending decisions for the last month of this campaign. Really, every donation -- no matter how big or small -- could tip the scales.

So I'm asking you, John, because it's never been more important: Will you pitch in $5 or anything you can right now so we can meet our 3rd quarter digital fundraising goal of $900,000?

Running for office is a truly humbling experience because you never know what can happen. And boy... we really had no idea what we were getting into when we launched this campaign.

We had no idea our country would face an unprecedented pandemic that would completely change how we campaign and how voters would cast their ballots. We had no idea our opponents would sink to some truly horrific lows. We had no idea everyone from Joe Biden to Kamala Harris to Hillary Clinton to Barack Obama would rally to support us.

We have hustled our hearts out every single step of the way.

And as we face the fast-approaching end of this general election, we can't afford to falter. We have to keep fighting our hearts out. And we just won't be able to compete in these final months if we fall short of our end-of-quarter goal.
