Report: Congressman received restraining order from his own mother.

It has often been said that a good indicator of someone's character is how they treat their family. By that measure, Congressman Harley Rouda's character is now seriously in question.

According to newly released reports, Harley Rouda's own mother filed a restraining order against him prior to his entrance into politics. The restraining order, allegedly issued in 2011, intended to prevent him from “directly or indirectly harassing, annoying, interfering with, harassing by telephone, assaulting or doing bodily harm..." toward his own mother. These latest reports only add to the growing list of controversies that Congressman Rouda has embroiled himself in over the past few months. When Governor Newsom shut down Orange County beaches, Rouda tweeted his approval of the lockdown only to be caught partying on the beach that same night. Just recently, Rouda hired a disgraced Democrat Party of Orange County staff member with a well-documented criminal history of violence and sexual assault against his wife. Furthermore, after Mike Bloomberg spent $4 million to support Rouda's 2018 campaign, Rouda returned the political favor by endorsing Bloomberg's doomed Presidential run -- a clear case of being bought and paid for.

Harley Rouda is simply incompatible with the voters and values of the 48th Congressional District. He claimed to be a moderate, independent voice, but he has proven himself to be nothing more than a self-centered member of the DC swamp. He must be defeated in November.
