The time following an autism diagnosis can be overwhelming. You likely
have a lot of questions and concerns about the journey that lies ahead
and where you can find reliable information, services and resources.
In this edition of E-Speaks, hear one mom's story about her
young daughter's autism diagnosis during the pandemic.
We're also sharing our newly digitized 100 Day Kit for Families
of Newly Diagnosed Young Children and offering a sneak peek at the
first installment of an educational animated video series for autism
caregivers.

newly diagnosed young child

The pandemic delayed 3-year-old Leah Paulette's autism
diagnosis, but that didn't stop her mom, Delmaris, from using
the time at home to prepare her daughter for upcoming therapies and
early intervention services.

While many of these tools address the needs of young children on the
spectrum, diagnosis can also come later in life. This toolkit for
adults recently diagnosed with autism provides critical information and resources to support adults on their journey post-diagnosis. As always, the Autism Response Team is here to help! Reach out at [email protected].
