| 2020 has undoubtedly not been what any of us planned. We all faced a multitude of cancelations and postponements as a result of COVID-19. No matter if your travel plans were canceled, your Rise Against Hunger Experience meal packaging event was postponed or you’re just looking for a virtual way to make a difference this year, we invite you on our Journey to Serve: Tanzania! In partnership with Global Volunteers, Rise Against Hunger’s Journey to Serve: Tanzania is a 100% virtual, interactive impact trip. While you might not actually get on a plane, this journey virtually transports you to Tanzania. You will learn about the country’s history, language and culture and hear about the work Rise Against Hunger and Global Volunteers are doing to support children and families through the Reaching Children’s Potential program. Your participation also supports those facing food insecurity — the $99 Journey to Serve registration will provide life-changing meals to a student for an entire year. 2020 may have affected some of our plans, but it has not affected Rise Against Hunger’s commitment to our mission.
