** Help Us Get Out the Vote
------------------------------------------------------------
From now until the November 3 election day, Teton Dems will focus efforts on getting out the vote.
Thanks to the generosity of some Teton Dem donors, we have funded social media and Google ad campaigns targeted to young people and newcomers to Teton County, directing them our guide to voting in 2020 ([link removed]) .
We have also been conducting a nonpartisan voter registration drive, which will run until October 20. You will find us every Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Smith’s Grocery Store.
Two weeks before the election, we will run an advertisement in the local newspapers urging support of our Teton Dems candidates ([link removed]) .
Please support Democrats up and down the ticket with any amount you can give to boost these efforts. It will be the best investment you make in this election!

** General Penny Tax Basics
------------------------------------------------------------
Teton County Democrats support passage of the General Penny tax, or the 7th Penny tax. We urge you to vote “YES” when you see the following question on the 2020 General Election ballot.
“Shall Teton County and the Town of Jackson be authorized to impose an additional cent of
general revenue sales and use tax to be used for general revenue purposes?”
If voted for and initiated in the spring of 2021, General Penny revenues would be split 55% to the county and 45% to the town. Estimates are that it would bring in around $15M total annually.
