------------------------------------------------------------

Tired of Trump yard signs? Do you live on a well trafficked street or in a neighborhood of opposition supporters? If so, come to our HQ at 2345 14^th Avenue, Suite 7 in Vero Beach and pick up a Biden/Harris yard sign or I Give A Dem yard sign ($6.00) to display in your yard. Pick up a Biden or Democrats of Indian River bumper sticker! We may not outnumber the other party in our county, but we can support our candidates and the Democratic Party!

** WAYS TO VOLUNTEER FOR VICTORY
------------------------------------------------------------

**
As we get closer to November 3^rd, we get busier. We have a great group of regular volunteers, but we need more help! Here are some ways you can help.

------------------------------------------------------------

** Sign Waving
------------------------------------------------------------

**
Our first four Sign Waving events in Vero Beach were a big success! Thank you to all of you who showed up. It was fantastic! We still have many more scheduled and we need YOU to show up! We will be wearing masks and social distancing. Signs will be provided, but if you have your own, feel free to bring them. Join us on:

Saturday, September 26^th, from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the corner of 43^rd Ave. and 45^th Street (Gifford)

Thursday, October 1^st, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the corner of Hwy. 510 and Hwy. 512 (Sebastian).

Here are some more opportunities:

Every Friday, through October 29^th there will be sign waving and a car caravan in Sebastian. Meet at 3:45 p.m. in the parking lot behind the Speedway on U.S. 1, across from Riverview Park. The sign waving event will last for one hour and the car caravan for about an hour and a half. Decorate your car to drive in the caravan, or bring signs to wave (homemade signs are always welcomed).

There will also be a sign waving event this Sunday, September 27^th from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. in Fellsmere at the corner of Hwy 512 and Broadway. Masks and social distancing of 6 feet are mandatory. Some signs will be provided but bring your own creative signs too. Vote by mail forms will also be available. Contact [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]) or 321-205-4079 for more information.

Also, we have a group that is busy in Fellsmere and Wabasso contacting Hot Democrats and putting signs in their yards, reaching out to businesses to help get residents registered to vote and vote by mail, and holding Socially Distanced Rallies. We hope to do a caravan there next weekend. Anyone who would like to help in Fellsmere or Wabasso, please contact Kelly at [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]) .

** Postcard Writing
------------------------------------------------------------

**
Want to write postcards to voters in swing states, including Florida? Here are a couple of programs that do just that.

** Resist Bot
------------------------------------------------------------

**
Resist Bot is an amazing and super easy texting tool to use with numerous advocacy options. With Resist Bot you can write your own letters to Congress, State officials and even the President; access phone numbers of officials anytime; create your own petition for others to sign and see trending petitions; even get 3 newspaper front pages every morning. It took me about 1 minute to sign 2 petitions and send letters to Scott and Rubio asking them to hold off voting on a new Supreme Court Justice and to stop forced hysterectomies on ICE detainees. To start using Resist Bot, use your mobile phone and go to [link removed]

------------------------------------------------------------

** Phone Banking/Texting

------------------------------------------------------------

** The Biden campaign is currently phone banking and texting. These calls are “Persuasion Calls.” You will be calling Republicans and No Party Affiliation voters to persuade them to vote for Joe Biden. If you are interested in volunteering for this, click on the links below, sign up online and the Biden campaign will reach out to you with more details.

*Please note that since our Indian River County phone bankers did such an amazing job, the Biden Campaign will no longer be calling in our county. They are now focusing on Okeechobee and St. Lucie county voters. So please, keep making those calls!

Well, let’s make it happen! We have 2 more months to share why Biden is the best candidate for the job, so write your letter today! To submit a Letter to the Editor, go to: [link removed]

** Poll Watchers
------------------------------------------------------------

**
This election season is the most important one many of us have had in our lifetime. The safety and security of our voters is imperative. We must ensure that every vote is counted and valid. One way for us to do that, is to have Democratic Poll Watchers in the voting locations. This is a vital volunteer position. Poll Watchers are needed for Election Day (November 3). If you are interested in being a Poll Watcher, there are 2 steps to take.

------------------------------------------------------------
1. Sign up for the training with the Supervisor of Elections by September 28^th. See the flyer below for more information.
2. Once you sign up for the training, send an email to [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]) to let them know you signed up. You will also need to submit to us your full name, residential address, phone number and date of birth. This information is required by the State for us to submit the necessary paperwork in coordination with our Voter Protection Team.

RESTORATION RIGHTS FOR RETURNING CITIZENS

Florida Rights Restoration Coalition needs your help now more than ever. With the recent court decision denying returning citizens their right to vote, unless their fines and fees are paid, fellow Floridians will be denied a voice and vote. Also, as the Republicans tie up the Bloomberg effort, other donations are needed. You can make a tax deductible donation to help pay someone fees at [link removed]
