Friends,

We only have one more week to fill out the 2020 Census! You can still fill out the form online, over the phone or by mail ([link removed]) by Wednesday, September 30. The current national self-response rate is 66.1%, but that aggregate rate across the nation does not reflect the lower response rate of historically undercounted communities across cities and states like our own. We need to ensure all our communities are counted! Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders have been historically undercounted along with other minority groups such as Native, Black, Latinx, and rural populations.

After the census deadline, census data are analyzed for apportionment, redistricting, and distributing $1.5 trillion annually to for schools, roads, hospitals, libraries, and so much more. Every count is crucial to make sure our communities have a voice and the resources they need to thrive!

Don't miss out on a decade of resources for your community. ([link removed])

We Want to Hear from You!

To ensure everyone is counted in the 2020 Census, enumerators have been going door-to-door to collect responses from non-responding households and to verify census responses. All enumerators should be following health guidelines, including:
* Wearing a mask at all times
* Maintaining social distancing of six feet or more
* Practicing hand hygiene

Have you been visited by a census enumerator? We want to gauge your experience to ensure they are following Census Bureau guidance around COVID-19 and CDC health guidelines and keeping people safe. Additionally, if you applied to work or are working with the Census Bureau, we would also like to hear about your experience. Please complete the feedback form here. ([link removed])

Call for Events

If you’re planning a national event or an event in Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Montana, New Mexico, North Carolina, or South Carolina, please add your event HERE ([link removed]) on the Census Counts Mobilize calendar.
