The Hill: "With just weeks until the election, Donald Trump is gaining ground on Joe Biden, whose average in the polls has shrunk to less than 6 points, according to Real Clear Politics, down from 9 points last month."

This is cause for alarm. Trump is gaining on Biden with less than six weeks left until Election Day, while CNN reports the ongoing Supreme Court battle could give the GOP a boost come Election Day. And the fact is, there is a long list of possible October surprises -- like Trump announcing a COVID vaccine or a potential change in jobs numbers -- that could boost the president's odds even further.

We need to drum up enthusiasm for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, and we need to do it now -- before these poll numbers get any worse. We are going to need an overwhelming turnout to defeat Donald Trump in November.
