In just a minute, I'm going to ask you to make a donation to my campaign. I hope you'll give me a chance to explain why this request -- especially today -- is so important.

At the end of this month, we close the books on our final end-of-quarter fundraising deadline of our campaign.

In addition, Mitch McConnell is currently spending huge sums of money on attack ads against us because he is desperate to save Collins' campaign -- and his Republican Senate majority.

All this means we need to do everything we possibly can to raise as much as we can to fight back before our FEC deadline ends on September 30th. This is one of our last opportunities before election day to demonstrate the grassroots strength of our campaign so we can't waste this moment.
