John,

Like so many, I’ve taken time this week to reflect on Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s incredible legacy, what she accomplished during her time on the court, and what it means to me, my family, and the future.

I keep coming back to a statement she made on abortion:

“This is something central to a woman’s life, to her dignity.” [1]

Dignity, meaning the ability to decide what is best for yourself. Dignity, meaning the ability to choose the health care you want, when you want it, where you want it. Dignity, meaning the ability to create a family, and whether or not that family includes children.

Dignity was at the center of Justice Ginsburg’s statement, and dignity is at the center of our work at Reproaction. We believe people are capable of determining what is best for their body, future, and health care, which is why we support, and work to expand access to, self-managed abortion with pills.

Want to help? Donate to Reproaction’s work to make self-managed abortion with pills an option for everyone.

Sincerely,

Elizabeth Skoski
Development Lead, Reproaction

P.S. Honor RBG’s legacy and words with a gift to allow all people the dignity to make the choice that is best for them.
