Good morning John,

A historic number of North Carolinians are voting right now. We're in a critical moment of this campaign, and I wanted to respectfully ask if I could count on your support. If you're able, can you rush $10 to help ensure my team and I have the resources to win this election?

You're probably getting a lot of these emails from other deserving campaigns, so let me explain just how high the stakes are in my race, and why I need your help more than ever before.

Donald Trump has come to North Carolina four times already this month to try and boost my extremist opponent. Combine that with the nearly $10 million being spent by out-of-state dark money groups against me, you can see just how hard the far-right is trying to defeat us.

They know that my race for governor provides one of Joe Biden's best chances for victory in the South. If we win, we'll help Democrats, like Joe and my friend Cal Cunningham, up and down the ballot.

That's why Sharlese, our finance director, emailed you earlier this week, and why I'm emailing you today.

We're at risk of falling short of our $400,000 end-of-quarter goal - one of our last chances before the election to show the extreme-right that this team is fired up and ready to keep North Carolina on the path to progress.

Compared to the millions my opponent is receiving from dark-money groups that might not seem like a lot. But when everyday North Carolinians chip in $5 and $10, we build a movement together that will defeat the far-right and help elect Democrats from the top to the bottom of the ticket.

So, what do you say, John? Can I count on you to rush your first contribution of $10 so we can hit our deadline?[link removed]

Thank you so much. I know we can win this election because of supporters like you.

We hope everyone is staying safe during this ongoing health emergency. The Cooper Campaign is now working remotely, and we encourage all those who are able to practice social distancing. We've taken the step of cancelling all in-person fundraising for the time being, making grassroots online outreach and fundraising even more critical than before. Roy and the rest of the team will keep working for a more prosperous, better-educated, and healthy North Carolina, and we hope you will stay with us in this fight.
