Climate change is here in devastating force.

Whether it's catastrophic fires in the West or once-in-a-generation storms in the Gulf, climate change touches every single community in this country. We have to confront this existential crisis head-on and with everything we've got.

That's why I am so proud of the fact that we have endorsed bold and brilliant pro-choice Democratic women running for House seats who are ready to tackle the climate crisis in their districts, in this country, and for our planet.

I thought I would take a moment to introduce you to a few of them.

Chris Bubser (CA-08)

Nancy Goroff (NY-01) is a chemistry professor, a mom, and a scientist. Research she published has helped make solar energy more affordable, a crucial part of solving this climate crisis. Nancy is committed to her Long Island district's waterways and expanding clean water infrastructure.

Rep. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell (FL-26) is an educator, a mom, and running for re-election in her South Florida district that includes the Everglades and Key West. Debbie has worked with the Coral Restoration Foundation and is a co-sponsor of the Green New Deal legislation in Congress.

Chris Bubser (CA-08) is an engineer and businesswoman, a mom, and a devoted outdoorswoman who loves to explore her sprawling eastern California district. Chris' expertise and background in industrial engineering will drive her efforts in Congress to bring clean and sustainable energy jobs to her constituents.

Nancy, Debbie, and Chris are more than prepared to do their parts to save our planet from the worst impacts of the climate crisis.
