We've all seen the horrifying pictures and videos of the destruction of the wildfires that are plaguing the West Coast. It has never been clearer: we need to act to address climate change.

I'm a proud supporter of the Green New Deal and have authored legislation, the America Wins Act, that would slash our carbon emissions in half over the next 10 years while investing $1 trillion in rebuilding the nation's infrastructure.

We can't wait any longer. It's time we act on climate.
