At a campaign rally on Monday, President Trump told his supporters that COVID-19 "affects virtually nobody" -- a slap in the face to every single American who has lost a loved one to this deadly disease.

The next day, he called the 200,000 people who died from COVID-19 "a shame." 

Donald Trump, enabled by a Republican-controlled Senate, has grossly mishandled this health crisis at every turn. His lack of empathy and self-awareness make him categorically unfit for office. 

I am throwing my entire weight behind Joe Biden's presidential campaign -- but, in the chance that Trump wins re-election, I promise to stand up to him at every turn. 

There's too much at stake for us to not give this election everything we've got. As long as I'm in Congress, I promise to represent the needs of frontline workers and working people -- but, to do that, I need your support.
