I’ve already had an eventful week. We started with the debate on Monday night and the news that my opponent is attacking me on TV for being “too radical” for Congress. He’s also accusing me of being an apologist for terrorism and extremism. If you are thinking that sounds like an Islamophobic smear, you are 100% correct.

All of this on top of the weight of the world at this moment. I would be lying if I said there aren't times that it doesn’t feel manageable but I remind myself why I’m running. It’s because you deserve better. You deserve better than what our democracy is offering you right now. You deserve representation that puts you before special interests and deep pockets. You deserve to have your voice heard.

The stakes are heightening by the day which is why my team is laser focused on our end of quarter FEC filing next week. In case you don’t know, this filing makes all my financial records public knowledge. We know my opponent, pundits, and the local press will be scouring this report looking for a weakness and a sign we can’t compete to win.

This is the moment. There is no more time to wait to engage. My team is working around the clock to provide opportunities to allow you to not only support my campaign, but get something in return. ART ACTION

Celebrating local art, culture, and the businesses that create such spaces is imperative to us continuing to act with hope through to November and beyond. All donating artists are local to the commonwealth of Virginia and donated their art to the campaign, so the winning bids will act as donations to help fund our operation through to Election Day. RUN WITH QASIM AND PUSH UP CHALLENGE
