Election 2020 | September 23, 2020

Welcome to the inaugural edition of Ms. magazine’s new Election 2020 Report! Every Wednesday, the Ms. team will be compiling our must-reads for the week, key numbers you should know before you vote and—perhaps most important of all—ways to get involved.

We are now 41 days out from Election Day, and we are facing the most important election of our lifetimes. We urge you to register to vote, check your registration and make a voting plan—and to check that your friends, family, neighbors and colleagues have done the same! Then—if you are able—we hope you will consider signing up to be a poll worker or election protection volunteer, as we are currently facing a national shortage of election workers. We’re in the final countdown to the election and it is truly all hands on deck to protect our democracy—you can count on Ms. to keep you informed and ready to fight back. We’ll see you here again next Wednesday—and every Wednesday after that, until this election has been decided. Our team will stay on top of election reporting in what is predicted to be a tumultuous aftermath amid lies about “voter fraud” and contested results.
