John, in case you missed it: Carolyn Long will debate Jaime Herrera Beutler on October 9th!

This comes after Carolyn challenged her opponent to debate a month ago, and when we heard crickets from the Herrera Beutler camp, folks like you stood with Carolyn and built the pressure to hear both candidates talk about the issues that matter to Southwest Washington. While Carolyn challenged her to three debates, Herrera Beutler only agreed to one — but we’ll take it!

Now, Carolyn will take on Herrera Beutler in a virtual debate hosted by the League of Women Voters Clark County, Cowlitz County, and Klickitat-Skamania County; along with The Columbian, The Longview Daily News, The Goldendale Sentinel, and the Skamania Pioneer in two weeks.

And that makes it all the more important we hit our grassroots fundraising goals ahead of the debate. We’re coming up on our critical end-of-quarter FEC fundraising deadline one week from today, and we’re pacing behind where we need to be before the month ends.
