When Senate Republicans blocked President Obama’s nomination to replace Justice Scalia, they said it was to give the American people a voice when the election was nearly an entire year away.

Today, voters in 23 states are already casting ballots! For almost half the country, the election is already here.

But now that the tables have turned, Republicans don’t want the American people to have a voice. That’s shameful, hypocritical — and we can’t accept it.
