Here’s the good news: Two polls in a row show our campaign with a small lead. It’s within the margin of error, but it puts us in a strong position for these final 41 days.

But the bad news: We’re not on track to hit our ambitious end-of-quarter goal. Lucy set our goal at 15,000 donations, and we need a lot more people to chip in if we’re going to get there. Missing this goal would mean making cuts that could spell trouble for our campaign at this critical moment.

We cannot afford to scale back while our strategy is working. Republicans just launched their first wave of dark money, outside spending, and there’s millions more coming our way.

We don’t have to outspend the millions that Karen Handel and her allies are planning to unleash, but we do have to keep it close. So we’re asking:

Will you please make a $3 donation to help us reach our important goal before the FEC deadline? Every dollar goes a long way for our grassroots campaign.

Washington Republicans know that there is no path to the House majority unless they defeat Lucy. That’s why she’s one of their top targets, and they will stop at nothing to try to take her down.

But together, we can make sure they don’t stand a chance.
