Hi John,

Here in Maine, we are used to Susan Collins saying one thing and then doing another. It started all the way back in her first run for Senate when she pledged to only serve two terms. Now she wants to be re-elected for a fifth term. So you’ll forgive us if we take any promises she makes with a grain of salt.

Collins has been pulling the wool over Mainer’s eyes for too long for us to take her words at face value. She says she supports a woman’s right to choose, but then she votes for hundreds of anti-choice judges. She calls herself a moderate, and then votes with Trump 94% of the time. She said she supports the ACA, then votes to gut it. She says she will only serve two terms but then she asks Mainers to forget.

We all know the stakes in this election. We all know what’s on the line. Let’s make sure we do all we can to win on November 3.
