Workers, employees, employers, adults of all professions and walks of life are preparing to join the Global Climate Strikes this September. What about you? Will we see you on the streets?

Hi John,

The Global Climate Strike is almost here, and the momentum is growing.

Educators, trade unions, celebrities, bakers, parents, doctors, faith-based groups – all of us are getting ready for the biggest climate mobilisation ever.

“This is a unique opportunity for workers to show solidarity with young people who are taking a stand on climate” - said Clara Paillard from the PSC Union, representing workers in public and commercial services in the UK.

Watch her message in this short, practical video, and learn why, and how, workers across Europe should be joining the September Climate Strikes:

From the United Kingdom to Ukraine, from Iceland to Australia: in 117 countries around the globe, people are planning to strike for the climate and take to the streets to show their solidarity with young people.

There are already hundreds of events planned in Europe, and hundreds more coming in the next few days. Which one of them are you joining?

Check out the Global Climate Strikes megamap, find and RSVP to an event near you!

Nothing planned yet in your area? There will be! We can let you know when a strike pops up close to your location - sign the pledge to support the Strikes, and watch your inbox for more information soon.

See you in the streets.

PS: If there’s no event in your area, consider starting your own walkout, protest or strike. We have a ton of resources to support you, including guides on how to organise your workplace, and powerful art to bring to the protest. Register your event and we’ll share all this, and more.
