I wish I could say this is unbelievable: Hank’s opponent, Johsie Cruz, was featured in a Covington News piece — and some of her comments were incredibly alarming.

Our opponent says she’s, “just like Trump,” and she has the background to back it up. She was a vocal member of an Atlanta-area pro-Trump group that helped get him elected in 2016, and her campaign was an active participant in defending a Confederate memorial statue against its planned removal.

And on top of all that, she doesn’t even live in our district! How could she possibly represent us when she doesn’t even live in or interact with our communities?

Here at Hank HQ, this is what concerned us the most, John: our opponent wants to open four field offices to reach even more voters, but right now we only have one!

Like it or not, we have to take this challenge seriously and start making investments toward our own campaign strategy. Will you chip in so that we can expand our voter outreach operation and send Hank back to Congress in November?
