We have our final quarterly FEC fundraising deadline coming up a week from today. Here's a rundown of the days ahead:

- Our September FEC fundraising deadline is next Wednesday.
- Our goal was to get 200,000 contributions before then, but we hit our goal early so we doubled it to 400,000 contributions.
- So we need to keep up the pace, we only have 7 days to get it done, so we're coming directly to you and asking for your support.

Our goal is based on the number of people donating -- not a dollar amount, because your contribution is more important than the amount you can give.

Your can see how important your support is, which is why today we have to ask:

If you are able, will you make a $3 donation to our people-powered campaign? The amount isn't as important as the donation itself because it's going to take a lot of people chipping in a few bucks at a time to help reach our 400,000 contribution goal.
