President Trump picking the next Supreme Court justice would be a threat to gun safety
John–
Everything is at stake. Tell your U.S. Senators: No SCOTUS confirmation before Inauguration Day.
We've fought for years to make this country safer from gun violence. But now, hundreds of the common-sense, life-saving laws we have fought for are on the line.
John, let's make abundantly clear what confirming a new Trump-nominated justice before Inauguration Day could mean for gun safety:
- The NRA could get a SCOTUS that rubber-stamps its "guns everywhere" agenda.
- Life-saving gun laws supported by the vast majority of Americans will be at risk of being overturned, including background checks on all gun sales, red flag laws, and laws that keep guns out of the hands of domestic abusers.
- Our gun laws could wind up gutted, leading to even more Americans dying from gun violence.
John, any of President Trump's potential SCOTUS nominees are a threat to gun safety. Tell your U.S. Senators: No SCOTUS confirmation before Inauguration Day.
If President Trump and Senate Majority Leader McConnell have their way, life-saving gun safety laws would be at grave risk, despite overwhelming support from the American people.
We can't let that happen.
Tell your U.S. Senators: No SCOTUS confirmation before Inauguration Day.
Thank you for being a part of this movement. We're in this together.
