Socialist Kunkel is bad for WV ⛔

My opponent, Cathy Kunkel, is not just a Democrat, but a Socialist Democrat and anti-coal. She supports Medicare for all, which raises the price of healthcare for the middle class. When hearing I called her a socialist, she said “that really doesn’t bother me.” Radical liberals like Kunkel would push America to the far left and destroy our freedoms and rights. 

We should be encouraging folks to go back to work, not settle for unemployment. Kunkel disagrees, instead supporting Pelosi’s efforts to increase unemployment benefits. Businesses are having trouble getting people to come back to work as a result.

Faith and Freedom 🇺🇸

I had the honor of sharing how my faith influences my work. I've been a devout Catholic my whole life. This guides my work in Congress to defend the lives of unborn babies. My family suffered under communist rule in Cuba because of their faith. Which is why I fight against communism and value our American freedoms.

Securing Healthcare 🩺

I sent a letter along with 240 colleagues to Secretary Alex Azar urging him to continue supplying low-income areas with access to prescription drugs. It is important West Virginians efficiently get the healthcare they need.  

Congress went “purple” this week in support of those struggling with mental issues. Substance abuse and mental health are often linked together, and have been a focus for me as your representative to Congress. I will continue working towards policies that bring positive change.
