I’ll be direct, Brandt: I am reaching out to ask you to make a contribution to my campaign for United States Senate. You can do so right here:

Now, I hope you’ll give me the chance to explain why your contribution matters so much in this moment.

The most critical FEC fundraising deadline of our campaign so far is coming up in exactly one week. And after we get there, we will have to report our numbers to the public.

Everybody from the press to Mitch McConnell and his corporate special interests will pore over our FEC report, looking to see if we’re really putting together the resources needed to win.

With the polls saying this race is either within the margin of error or down to single digits, McConnell’s super PACs will ramp up their attacks if they find any hint of weakness. It’s critical we report as many individual donations as we can before the FEC deadline to show how strong this team really is.

So, we’ve set an ambitious goal of reaching 100,000 individual online contributions in one week. I’m asking you to contribute any amount you can to help fight back against GOP attacks and ensure we report a strong number on our FEC report:

The amount you donate is far less important than the act of giving itself. Because every time you pitch in to support this campaign, you’re sending a message about the type of leader you want in Washington.

I want anyone who looks at our FEC report to see what I see: A strong coalition of folks fighting back against political corruption in Washington.

Thanks for standing with us. Stay safe and healthy.
