Just weeks ago, a GOP-backed group with close ties to a Mitch McConnell-aligned super PAC committed to dumping $4.5 million into this race to help my Republican opponent. That comes after my Trump-backed opponent has outraised me for more than a year. And it means that in the critical weeks leading up to the election, my opponent will be able to bombard the airwaves, blanketing the state of Michigan.
I’ll be honest, John, this race is tightening just as folks across Michigan are about to receive their ballots, which makes me nervous for the outcome of the Senate.
