Friend,

Last night, the Louisville Metro Council passed a safety zone protection ordinance that will make abortion access safer for people seeking care in Louisville, Kentucky.
We recently asked voters in two key battleground states -- Arizona and Pennsylvania -- how they feel about abortion access. And with the passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, abortion access and the fate of the Supreme Court will be an even bigger focus in this election, especially in battleground states.

So, what did we find?

At least 7 in 10 voters in both states believe that individuals should have the rights, freedoms, and opportunities to control their lives, bodies, and futures -- and that includes the right and ability to have an abortion.

As a supporter of NIRH Action Fund, this won't come as news to you. You already know that most people -- including many Republican voters -- trust individuals to make crucial decisions about their lives. And as our polling in Arizona and Pennsylvania shows, voters in these battleground states and beyond are ready for candidates and elected officials to advance a bold vision for reproductive freedom.

Research NIRH has conducted since 2016 shows that voters are fed up restrictions on abortion access and think that anti-abortion politicians have gone too far. Now, as we face a pandemic, the barriers to access are even more stark. The numbers are clear: voters understand the barriers that people face, and know that each individual -- and not politicians -- should be making their own decisions about accessing abortion.

This November, NIRH Action Fund is working to ensure our elected officials and candidates can lead -- and win -- as loud and proud champions of reproductive freedom. Help us make that happen here: [link removed]

Thank you for your support,
Andrea Miller
