When we lost Justice Ginsburg, we lost a principled, dignified defender of justice. Now, the Supreme Court is under attack, with a rush to fill her seat during an election that is already under way.

To preserve LGBTQ+ protections, healthcare, voting rights, public education, economic security, access to housing, disability and more, take action today:

Tell your Senators that the Supreme Court is #OurCourt.

Tell your Senators that the next president must nominate Justice Ginsburg’s replacement after the people have spoken.

The COVID pandemic has hit at the same time that the Administration is seeking to dismantle the Affordable Care Act and erode protections for people with pre-existing conditions — pre-existing conditions which now, undeniably, include people who have tested positive for COVID. The Supreme Court will hear arguments on this case one week after Election Day, and it is entirely possible that we won’t yet have an outcome of the Presidential election by that time. 

Some Senators have already committed to waiting until after the inauguration in January to consider a nominee. Now, we need a majority of Senators to make this commitment, not just waiting until after Election Day, but until after inauguration day.

Please take critical action, right now, and then ask your friends and loved ones to do the same.
