For me, the devastating news of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg's death makes it crystal clear: I must do everything I possibly can in the next 42 days to defeat Donald Trump and elect Joe Biden to lead our country through these dark times. All of us must do that, together, right now.

That’s why I’ve thrown away the usual fundraising appeal and am asking you NOT to donate to my campaign. Instead, I’m putting up $100,000 as a matching challenge to you and anyone else who donates to the Biden Victory Fund by midnight, September 30th. We're being tested by historic climate-driven wildfires, a horrific pandemic that has turned our lives upside down, and the undeniable reality of systemic racial injustice. To each of these epochal tests, President Trump has responded in the worst possible way. And his craven, corrupt, authoritarian Presidency is turning America into something almost unrecognizable, and totally unacceptable.
