China’s citizens are encouraged and even rewarded for spying on their neighbors. Government officials collect data on Christians and have even installed cameras inside churches.
Christian pastors and church members in China have been rounded up and imprisoned.
Pastor John Cao - a U.S. permanent resident - was arrested over three and a half years ago and currently languishes in a Chinese prison for his faith.
Pastor Cao devoted his life to serving the poor in China and Burma (Myanmar). He furnished much-needed supplies and built schools But instead of being rewarded for his selfless humanitarian efforts, he was targeted and punished.
He must be set free.
We’re preparing to deliver a critical oral intervention to the U.N. Human Rights Council – in just hours – urging international pressure on China to cease the targeted persecution of Christians and free Pastor John Cao.
Pastor Cao urgently needs your voice today.
