The challenges facing small and mid-size businesses during this pandemic are daunting.

As elected officials, we owe it to them to offer coherent plans for getting our regional economy past this crisis and promoting a vigorous recovery.

Four months after trumpeting preparation of an economic plan, my opponent released his plan. To my pleasant surprise, much of his plan echoed the Roadmap to Recovery [[link removed]] I released months ago.

1. We need to focus on the root causes of homelessness, [[link removed]]
2. We need to address the impacts of short-term vacation rentals, [[link removed]]
3. We need to bridge the digital divide, and [[link removed]]
4. We need to provide real financial relief to tenants and landlords. [[link removed]]

San Diego needs a Mayor who will do more than make promises – who has the ability to deliver real solutions [[link removed]] .

I spent my career [[link removed]] promoting innovation, supporting entrepreneurs, fighting for equity, and building the kind of technological infrastructure we need to support a more inclusive and forward-looking economy.

That is the kind of experience I want to bring to City Hall.
