PASSING OF JUSTICE RUTH BADER GINSBURG:

On Friday, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg passed away due to complications from metastatic pancreatic cancer. Justice Ginsburg had battled cancer for several years and had been in and out of the hospital often in recent months. RBG made history throughout her career and was only the second woman to serve on the Supreme Court. President Trump is expected to nominate the next justice to the Supreme Court on Saturday, and he has already stated that the nominee will be a woman.

BOTTOM LINE:

Justice Ginsburg was a historic figure, a groundbreaking jurist, and a trailblazer. May she rest in peace. We send our deepest condolences to Justice Ginsburg’s family and loved ones during these trying times.

WHAT ELSE TO WATCH:

Democrats Politicize Supreme Court: Unsurprisingly, with a vacancy on the Supreme Court due to the passing of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Democrats are now politicizing the Supreme Court and making threats. Far-left activist Reza Aslan said, “If they even TRY to replace RBG we burn the entire f-----g thing down.” Another far-left activist, Beau Willimon, claimed, “We’re shutting this country down if Trump and McConnell try to ram through an appointment before the election.” Prominent Democrat politicians, including Senator Ed Markey (D-Massachusetts), Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-New York), and former Attorney General Eric Holder, have all suggested expanding and packing the Supreme Court if President Trump’s nominee is confirmed. Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-California) would not rule out impeaching President Trump to stop or delay his Supreme Court pick, and Democrat presidential candidate Joe Biden has refused to say that he wouldn’t pack the Supreme Court when directly asked the question.

BOTTOM LINE:

Today’s far-left Democrats are playing their usual pathetic games by threatening to blow up our system of government and pack the Supreme Court. Their weak excuse is that Republicans held up Judge Merrick Garland in 2016, but that was a completely different situation. At the time, former President Obama was a lame-duck president in the last year of his second term, and Republicans – the opposing party – controlled the Senate. As Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky) stated, “Since the 1880s, no Senate has confirmed an opposite-party president’s Supreme Court nominee in a presidential election year.” By contrast, Republicans control both the White House and the Senate, and we’re still in President Trump’s first term. He’s far from the lame-duck president that President Obama was four years ago. President Trump won in 2016, in part, on the promise that he would nominate constitutionalist justices to the Supreme Court. That mandate was expanded when voters gave Republicans a larger majority in the Senate in the 2018 midterm elections after Democrats attempted to humiliate Justice Brett Kavanaugh with cynical, false accusations. President Trump has a duty to nominate a justice to the Supreme Court and has every right to have that justice be confirmed by the Senate, which is exactly what we expect to happen.

President Trump Gets Results: President Trump has proven over the last almost four years that he is by far the best man for the job of rebuilding our economy, and we have the results to prove it. According to a new report from the White House, the real median household income increased by $4,400 in 2019 – setting a record high of $68,700. “This represents a 6.8 percent one-year increase, which is the largest one-year increase in median income on record,” according to the report. The economy was booming in 2019 thanks to President Trump’s policies, before China unleashed COVID-19 on the world, and the American people know it. According to a recent Rasmussen poll, President Trump’s approval rating reached 53 percent once again. It has been approximately a year since Rasmussen had the president at an approval that high. Rasmussen has polled President Trump at a 50 percent or more approval rating for the last seven days straight. Additionally, the Trump Administration and House Democrats have come to terms on a short-term spending bill to avoid a government shutdown next week. Republicans and Democrats have agreed to include $8 billion in nutrition assistance and tens of billions of dollars to help farmers in the spending bill, which will fund the federal government until December 11.

BOTTOM LINE:

It makes sense that Americans are giving President Trump high marks and are eager to bring him back for four more years. The president has a proven track record of being the jobs president. As the White House report shows, President Trump built the greatest economy in our nation’s history once, and he is in the process of rebuilding our economy once again. Thanks to President Trump’s quick and decisive action, the economy is quickly rebounding. As we have stated before, 10.6 million jobs have been added back to the American economy over the last four months – the fastest economic recovery we have ever seen. The American people know what President Trump is doing for them, and that is why they will re-elect him for a second term this November.

Anarchist Jurisdictions: Earlier this week, the Department of Justice labeled New York City, Portland, and Seattle as “anarchist jurisdictions.” Attorney General Barr stated, “When state and local leaders impede their own law enforcement officers and agencies from doing their jobs, it endangers innocent citizens who deserve to be protected, including those who are trying to peacefully assemble and protest.” Democrat local officials of the three cities have allowed violence and destruction of property to continue for months now and have refused to take the necessary measures to combat the criminal activity within their jurisdictions. White House budget director Russ Vought is looking into withdrawing federal funds from the three cities in the next couple of weeks.

BOTTOM LINE:

It’s unfortunate that Democrat elected officials refuse to do their jobs and keep the streets safe for their constituents. Portland officials have purposefully failed to control riots that have wreaked havoc in the city’s streets seemingly every night since May. Crime has been on the rise in New York City as the city’s council cut $1 billion from their law enforcement’s budget. And we can never forget when far-left anarchists set up the “Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone” (CHAZ) in Seattle for almost a month. President Trump is doing the job that the American people elected him to do – if local officials refuse to protect their citizens, then President Trump will.

President Trump on the Campaign Trail: President Trump is on the campaign trail again this week. On Monday, he was making stops in Ohio and followed that with a stop in Pennsylvania yesterday. Tomorrow, President Trump will be in Jacksonville, Florida. On Friday, he will be in Newport News, Virginia, and he will be in Middletown, Pennsylvania, on Saturday. President Trump will be speaking about healthcare in Charlotte, North Carolina, tomorrow. Vitally, the president will be taking on Democrat presidential candidate, former Vice President Joe Biden in the first presidential debate next Tuesday.

BOTTOM LINE:

President Trump continues to bring his message straight to the American people. He is out campaigning nearly every day across the nation. Meanwhile, Joe Biden’s campaign again called a lid for Biden’s in-person events early yesterday morning. We’re in the middle of a presidential campaign, and Joe Biden can’t even muster the strength or stamina to meet with potential voters. Since President Trump is the only candidate willing to engage with his constituents leading up to the election, the choice is more than clear for Americans on Election Day. Joe Biden doesn’t even care enough about the race to connect with the people he wants to vote for him. President Trump will be re-elected in November.
