I am a student organizer with the UnKoch GMU campaign. My team and I are working hard to remove all Koch-funded centers from our campus, and we need your help.

Join us on tomorrow at 7pm ET for our upcoming “Direct Action and Legislative Approaches to UnKoch GMU” to learn of new opportunities for participating in this key campaign!

This online event will examine the political significance of the Koch presence at George Mason University (GMU) and the ways in which the campaign to UnKoch GMU has national, multi-issue implications. Panelists will highlight how the tactic to remove Charles Koch’s infrastructure from GMU will require a multi-strategy approach with a particular focus on upcoming student-led actions and the community’s legislative goals for 2021.

Although I am already a busy student, I got involved in this work because I've witnessed first-hand the ways research produced by Koch-funded research centers is used to argue against combating the climate crisis. I need the local community, Virginia legislators, and national allies to help stop this, meaning I need you!
