INDIANAPOLIS - (September 23, 2020) Fall break planning is underway and if you are looking to stay close to home, look no further than one of Indianas museums. Visit Indiana's next #The20IN20 list features the must-see, must-do museums [ [link removed] ] across the state.

More than 850 million people visit museums across the United States each year, said Lt. Gov. Suzanne Crouch. Museums tell our stories, preserve our heritage and explore the future.

The New York Times called it one of the Ten Coolest Museums in the World, and Hoosiers said it was their top choice in the Best of Indiana poll. AtThe Childrens Museum of Indianapolis [ [link removed] ], you can explore five floors of fun and excitement. From the Dinosphere to Beyond Spaceship Earth and the Riley Childrens Health Sports Legends Experience.

Named after Hoosier astronaut Gus Grissom, theGrissom Air Museum [ [link removed] ]in Peru also topped the Best of Indiana list. You can get an up-close look at aircraft from World War II to the present day, jump into a cockpit and climb inside a security tower.
