I was born and raised in Mississippi. Growing up here, I never thought I would be locked in what is shaping up to be the closest Senate race in modern history.

Getting here wasn't easy.

But over the last fourteen months my campaign has traveled all across the state, speaking with every last voter we could find.

We even spent some time talking to voters outside Trump's Mississippi rally last month – because that's how you win in a state like this.

Along the way we've been funded by grassroots donations of $5, $10, even $50 at a time. And it means the world to me to know that so many people have my back.

But this race isn't over yet.

We need to make sure that we stand up for the will of the voters from now until this is fully certified. In a state like Mississippi, we can't afford to get complacent at the finish line.
