Protect the people and places we love.

That belief guides Ontario Greens' work.

Across our province, wildfires, flooding and unsafe weather are putting our communities, farmland, and infrastructure at risk. These risks, coupled with increasing housing pressures and a healthcare system under growing strain, are making your life more expensive than ever before.

That's why we're undertaking one of our most ambitious grassroots projects yet.

Our goal: gather 500,000 signatures, calling on the Ontario government to formally recognize the climate crisis.

You may have received my letter about this campaign in the mail. Today, I want to share what it will take to bring this effort to communities across Ontario.

Reaching that many people requires organizers, volunteers, petition materials, community events, and digital outreach.

It's a major undertaking, and every part of it requires resources.

[Our year-end campaign accounts for roughly one-third of our yearly funding.]([link removed]) Those contributions support the organizers, petition materials, technology and outreach needed for this ambitious effort, alongside our ongoing work across Ontario.

Eligible Ontario political contributions can qualify for a provincial political contribution tax credit of up to 75%.
