In January of 2017, Uygur co-founded a group called Justice Democrats.
Two years later, on January 3, 2019, four of its candidates were sworn into the United States Congress. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. Ilhan Omar. Rashida Tlaib. Ayanna Pressley. Cori Bush followed in 2020.
Two years from a founding document to four seats in the Congress of the United States. That is not an accident. That is a pipeline, and somebody built it on purpose.Help me take it apart in a court of law.
And the nephew he hired now reaches millions of young men every single day.
On September 10, I sued Hasan Piker personally for more than $150 million in Palm Beach County, Florida, for telling that audience that someone was going to come around and take action against Americans for what they believe. Help me fund that case and the next one.
And look at the names on the indictment our Citizens’ Grand Jury returned in Charleston on September 5. Nine jurors, voting unanimously, on seven felony counts: Hasan Piker, Zohran Mamdani, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Abdul El-Sayed and Barack Hussein Obama.
Two of those names were put into Congress by the organization Cenk Uygur helped found. A third is the nephew he hired. That is not a coincidence. It is an org chart.Help me put it in front of a jury.
My name is Larry Klayman. I founded Judicial Watch in 1994 and Freedom Watch after it. I am a former federal prosecutor. I exposed Filegate and Chinagate under the Clinton administration, I beat the Obama NSA in federal court and shut down its illegal bulk-surveillance dragnet, and I am the only lawyer in American history who obtained a court ruling that a sitting president had committed a crime.
Forty years of this work has taught me one thing above all others. You do not stop a movement by suing the loudest person in it. You stop it by finding out who writes the checks, who books the platform, and who decided this was the message. That is what discovery is for.
So The Young Turks are next, and I want to be plain with you about why. Not because Cenk Uygur has opinions I dislike. He is entitled to every opinion he has, and so are you, and so am I.
He is next because in my judgment this company has spent a decade building the distribution network that carries this poison into the minds of young Americans, and because a man does not get to construct the machine, hire the operator, and then stand back and say the machine has nothing to do with him. I intend to prove exactly that in a court of law.
Let them sue me for saying it. They will not, and their lawyers will tell them precisely why. A libel case would put Cenk Uygur in a deposition chair, under oath, answering questions about his funding, his bookings, his editorial decisions and his hiring. No media company in America hands a lawyer like me that opening. I am counting on it.
Here is why the courtroom is the only room that works. A broadcaster controls his own show completely. He can cut a segment, delete an archive, decline an interview and put out a statement written by a lawyer. He has never once in his life had to finish a sentence he did not want to finish.
He cannot do any of that under oath. In a deposition he answers what he is asked or he takes the consequences of refusing. Subpoenas reach corporate records. Discovery reaches the funders, the bookings, the internal correspondence and the decisions nobody ever intended you to see. Fund the subpoena that opens those files.
We do not write strongly worded letters to Congress. We do not go on television to complain about the people on television. We file. We are your real Justice Department, because the one in Washington has been inert for years and I stopped waiting on it a long time ago.
None of it is free. Filing fees, court reporters, transcripts, investigators, forensic accountants to trace corporate money, and the years of appeals a media company with real revenue will force on us because delay is cheaper for them than defeat. It costs roughly $400 to sponsor a single initial filing, before one hour of research. Before a single word is written.
The Piker case is live right now and the motions to try to kill it are coming inside ninety days. I need that line held and I need the next complaint drafted at the same time. Both of those things run on your gifts.
I have been smeared, investigated and threatened by men with far more power than any broadcaster. The communist Chinese came after me personally over our Wuhan case and I filed it anyway. Every one of them is a footnote now. I am still here, I am still filing, and I do not scare. Stand with me on this one.
I am your public interest advocate and I need your help. Islamist jihadist Marxists like Piker and his equally despicable uncle, Cenk Uygur, host of the Young Turks, are inciting and causing life threatening violence against Jews and Christians. They must be legally relegated to the ash heap of history and legally removed from our Judeo-Christian nation!
In Justice,
Larry Klayman Founder, Judicial Watch and Freedom Watch Chairman, Freedom Watch, Inc.
P.S. January 23, 2017, four men found an organization. January 3, 2019, four of its candidates are sworn into the United States Congress. One of those founders runs The Young Turks, and he is the uncle who gave Hasan Piker his start. Nobody in Washington is going to ask a single question about any of it. Freedom Watch will, under oath, with a court reporter in the room. Please make your most generous tax-deductible gift today — $25, $50, $100 or more. God bless you, God bless your family, and God save America.
