Friend,
In
2018, Carolyn Bourdeaux ran the closest Congressional race in the
country, coming within less than 500 votes of
unseating current GOP Rep. Rob Woodall. It seems that after 2018, Rep.
Woodall read the writing on the wall -- he’s one of 26 Republican
House members who will not be seeking re-election in 2020 -- but the
race to succeed him is shaping up to be another close, competitive
contest.
Georgia’s 7th Congressional District may be one of our
best chances at flipping a GOP-held seat this cycle, and Carolyn
Bourdeaux is already pulling ahead. Will
you donate $200, $100, or $50 today to ensure that Carolyn’s campaign
has all of the resources it needs to turn Georgia’s 7th District
blue?
LET'S ELECT CAROLYN
BOURDEAUX
Carolyn is a professor at Georgia
State University, a public servant, and a lifelong fighter for working
families. Meanwhile, her opponent is a far-right conspiracy theorist
who’s donated thousands to Marjorie Taylor Greene, the devout QAnon
supporter, and has pledged to “fully repeal” the Affordable Care Act
-- basically, he’s your typical 2020 Republican candidate, and we
can’t have representatives like him in Congress.
Stacey Abrams won this district in the 2018
Georgia Gubernatorial race, and The Cook Political Report has this
seat rated as “Lean D,” so I have no doubt that, with our support,
Carolyn Bourdeaux can win this election. But we need to get her across
the finish line: Even
$200, $100, or $50 could make a difference in this close race, so will
you chip in today and join me in supporting Carolyn
Bourdeaux?
Best, Ted
