The National Catholic Prayer Breakfast was formed back in 2004, in response to St. John Paul II’s call for a New Evangelization. Over the past
16 years, thousands have gathered in our nation’s capital to pray for our leaders, the Church and one another. Due to the pandemic, the
breakfast is being held virtually this year.
Our virtual event will be broadcast tomorrow on the internet and on EWTN. The event will include the
recitation of the Divine Mercy Chaplet, a keynote address by Bishop Robert Barron, remarks from The Honorable William Barr, and a greeting from Pope
Francis.
We are also honored to announce that President Donald Trump will address the program.
We expect tens of thousands to join us
