REPUBLICAN PARTY OF NEW MEXICO REPORTS A RASH OF VANDALISM AGAINST TRUMP VICTORY OFFICE AND CAMPAIGN SIGNS OVER THE WEEKEND

MAN CAUGHT ON VIDEO WITH MACHETE, OTHER SIGNS STOLEN: CRIMINAL ACTIVITY CANNOT BE TOLERATED

ALBUQUERQUE, SEPTEMBER 22 — Criminals have again targeted the Republican Party of New Mexico after a number of acts of vandalism occurred this past weekend ([link removed]) . RPNM is reporting these crimes to Albuquerque and Rio Rancho police.

The Trump Victory office at 1406 Eubank Boulevard, NE in Albuquerque was defaced when vandals spray-painted “Biden” in black paint on two window vinyl signs. Authorities are searching for suspects.

Vandals destroyed, defaced and stole a number of 4-feet-by-8-feet Trump-Pence signs around the Northeast section of Albuquerque. At Juan Tabo and Montgomery Boulevard, a man with a machete was caught on video chopping up a Trump-Pence sign. That video, taken by witnesses, has been handed over to authorities ([link removed]) .

Also in Northeast Albuquerque, Trump-Pence signs were stolen from several other intersections.

In Rio Rancho the phrases “Black Lives Matter” and “A.C.A.B.” (an acronym for All Cops Are Bastards) were spray-painted on two Trump-Pence signs at Loma Larga and Idalia. Rio Rancho authorities have been notified and have photos of these acts of vandalism.

The Rio Rancho vandalism follows other reports of Trump-Pence sign theft earlier this month in that city. An investigation into those crimes is already underway.

“This widespread vandalism will not be tolerated,” said Republican Party of New Mexico Chairman Steve Pearce. “All of these crimes are acts of hate, a message has that no place in our society at any time. Earlier this year vandals defaced our Albuquerque Headquarters, but the DA failed to prosecute the suspect. This kind of criminal behavior must stop and these vandals must be punished.”

If anyone has information about any of these acts of vandalism, they are asked to call Albuquerque Police at 505-242-2677, Rio Rancho Police at 505-891-7226 or the Republican Party of New Mexico at 505-298-3662.
